Now a week of vacation to clear the mount of the bike 's confectioners yeye who were there for the house and go to Burinhosa days July 27, 2008. The bike is not great treasure, a confectionary commonplace in 1984, so recent but cared enough to participate.
I was the first to arrive and the environment did not raise suspicions about what would follow. Enrolled, participants began to arrive that besides the bikes brought loads of good disposition and a lot of parody.
From what I recall I have noted a bicycle NOS Triumph, an excellent copy well estimated by its owner. I also remember a bike very peculiar: the pedal went back to the front! At slow speeds, theoretically it would be to assist in climbing. Had two dishes in the bracket with a derailleur primitive beautiful! Unfortunately I can not remember the brand. Actually, I'm very bad marks to decorate. There would be others to report but may do so when you know brands. However there is not much missing pig in a poke!
Also asked if a Chaparral chopper up for sale but the owner did not buy ... unfortunately the girl that was driving crashed ahead of where some cuts resulted in the head, I think ... God punishes! This was indeed the only incident of the tour.
The route was a little hard for anyone not riding a bike regularly but reveals the difficulties offered by these beauties to our grandfathers. But for me the worst were too many stops. I must confess that at the end of what was already fartinho! The lunch hour in addition to regain strength, was used to calmly assess the vintage bicycles and exchange views with the known net and other participants. Already, the next I think there should be more tables available. Just one criticism: I do not know how far monitoring would not need police because at times the traffic was very congested for bicycles ... say in passing that drivers do not have any patience.
Besides the organization is to be congratulated! The offerings were many among which stands out a bottle of wine and a photograph Six Kings per participant. However the photographer was what is called a donkey with a camera. Using a tripod and managed to blur the focus on participant background. Anyway .. modern photographers, spines of digital photography. So you can put the picture.
Most importantly, the passion for two wheels has been well documented in men and biking are to be congratulated!
